Managing Common Objects


An object in SansGUI represents a group of system components with common properties or common data referred to by other objects, derived parts, or links. Sometimes, we would like to use similar objects in different Project Models. We may also want to prepare some objects with common properties filled in for future use. The common objects may include

In this chapter, we discuss the use of Object Libraries to store commonly used objects with user prepared values. We also introduce some other means of importing sharable objects and classes into Object Libraries and Project Models and explain the SansGUI version evolution mechanism from the user's standpoint.
